The Delta volleyball team competed in the Delta Invitational with West Valley and Butte, where they came out on top in both matches, Saturday, Oct. 15.

The Lady Mustangs stumbled a little in the first and second game, as the West Valley Lady Vikings gave them a run for their money. Delta beat them 30-24, 26-30, 30-11, 30-24.

"Our passing broke down," said head coach Brad Friesen. "Our passing clicked well in game three. That was the big difference."

"We picked up our intensity," said freshman Frances Sandor about their second match.

Butte was close in the first game, but Delta easily beat them 30-26, 30-17, 30-19.
