Men's water polo snag first tournament win since 1993.

The men dominated in the Ohlone Tournament, swimming away with their first tournament win since the 1993 Foothill Tournament, Sept 23-24.
Day one put Delta up 10-7 over Foothill, and they beat Cabrillo 12-5.
Jen Young led the Mustangs with five goals; K.C. Drake made three shots, Thomas Dietrich and Nick Ishi recorded three goals each. Mike Kemether scored two goals, and Eric Weisz, Nick Kreiger, Cody Turlow, and Chris Tunquist scored one apiece. Andrew recorded 16 saves in two games.
With the title in sight, the Mustangs scored 10 over DeAnza, beating them 16-6 in the semifinals and toppled host Ohlone 11-7 in the championship match.
Team captain Young led Delta with nine goals, Dietrich had seven goals, Kemether and Drake scored three goals. Grafius recorded 20 saves.
Women's water polo
The Lady Mustangs finished fifth the Diablo Valley Tournament in Pleasant Hill, Sept. 23-24. Delta fell to Cuesta 10-5, but beat Foothill 11-7 in overtime during the first day of the tournament.
"Cuesta pulled way with last four minutes," said head coach Mike Leabo.
Sarah Watt scored six goals in two games, four in the overtime of the Foothill game to lead the Lady Mustangs. Katrina Cockerill, Elise Schwartz and Sabrina Connor scored two goals each, and Jess Lenart, Melissa Addison scored one each.
Delta beat West Valley 9-3, but lost to Merced 10-7 in the second day.
"We had really good team play," said Leabo. "(We are) one of the faster teams in North California this year; we can really counterattack and get up and down the pool."
Watt scored nine goals, Schwartz scored three, Connor shot two, and Sarah Berrien and Cockerill had one apiece. Addison recorded 14 saves and six steals.
Wresting
Benny Garcia, 141 pounds, won the Sacramento City Tournament with a 4-0 record and was named most valuable wrestler. Carlos Arodanze went 4-1 and finished third at 174 pounds.
