It's time to put away the boho skirts, long denim shots, the beach bag and surf-board. Fall is here, and that means sexy velvet, chic military jackets, refined cardigans, embellished blue jeans and bold belts. Also, find the coolest items in two of the hottest colors of the season: green and brown, and of course, boots to die for.

First up, the beige cardigan for men. Remember one thing: This isn't your daddy's cardigan. This updated version of a throwback look will only put you ahead of the others. Worn with a fitted topper (jacket, shrug, capelet, etc.) and paired with tall boots, the full skirt takes on a new look for fall.

The black chinos go with everything and makes your attire more dressy and are a nice substitute for jeans, so they're much more appreciated.

After seasons of bright colors and white, black reappears as a chic look for everything from dresses to accessories.

Guys, please know the argyle sweater, is one of those looks that resurface every fall maybe because it's a preppy look, or maybe because it's a sophisticated style.

Tall, to-the knee boots are the best footwear option for everything from full skirts to gauchos, so ladies, don't forget to pick up a pair while out on your next trip to the mall. The western-style shirt (flannel) is something that never seems to go out of style, so try this particular shirt in either gray of paisley checker design.

From oversized hobo bags to large structured styles, the bold bag is this season's must-have, which mean, girls, that oversized bag you've had your eye on is now half-priced so buy it.

Fall is the perfect time for lush fabrics like velvet, velour, cashmere, and flannel, thanks to the added warmth; they improve any ensemble.

Guys, remember color this season that will work wonders are red, black, purple (yes, I said purple) gray and navy, and ladies, your colors are teal, dark brown, burnt orange moss and ginger.

Don't forget your head wear; this season's style of caps are newsboys, conductor and fedora while headbands and wraparound head scarves work for the girls, too.
