Robert Wimberly gave Delta two victories on the 1 M and 3 M (277.95, 220.55).

The sky, Friday March 4, changed from periods of sun to clouds as the swim meet between Delta and American River changed from periods of victory to defeat for the Mustangs.

The men dominated the pool, winning 84-27. Robert Wimberly conquered the diving boards, placing first in both the 1 M (277.95) and 3M (220.55) events.

The speedy tandem of Heather Bakaoka, Erin Pritchard, Christine Setness, and Sarah Berrian finished first (1:58.46) in the 50 yard medley relay, but to no avail, as the women fell to American River 63-49.

Setness also won both the 100-yard individual medley (1:04.88) and 50-yard butterfly (28.78). Pritchard also placed first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:04.75) and 50-yard breaststroke (1:01.14).

C.K. Drake won both the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:23.12) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.14). Michael Iles, Thomas Dietrich, Derrick Davis, and Brian McLean placed first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:31.55) to help in the defeat of American River College.
