Has anyone seen the commercial with Bill Clinton and George Bush senior? Many people have and many haven't.
Clinton and Bush are teaming up to aid the tsunami victims. Sophomore Alison Roth agrees with what the commercial is promoting.
"I've seen the commercial and always helping others is good thing," Roth said.
The tsunami death toll reached 169,070 to 178,118, with 128,426 still missing. In Indonesia alone 240,000 are dead in the Northern Aceh Province.
After the devastation of the tsunami in Southern Asia and parts of India, the United States was nice enough to give $350 million. But was this enough?
After we pledged millions of dollars, we all saw on our television sets Clinton and Bush asking for more donations. It helped, as they raised $7 billion in government and private donations.
One-third of U.S. households helped with contribution. Clinton and Bush are now on a four-nation tour as they visit the devastation of the tsunami.
So Far they have visited Indonesia's port city of Medan to meet with Indonesian Presidents Bambang Yudhoyono, to inspect a water purification plant donated by a United States firm, and to tour Southeast Thailand to see what the U.S. money has done to repair fishing boasts in the village of Ban Namkhem.
Sophomore Lacey Harvey disagrees with the commercial is trying to say.
"I don't agree with it because Indonesia is a terrorist supporter and they don't like us", Harvey said. "Now they're asking us for help and they just demand it."
Harvey also says about the commercial: "They know we will give the money to them and I don't think that's right," Harvey said. "I don't agree to what the point of the commercial is."
This is something to think about, as your U.S. dollars seem to be going to be going to a country like Indonesia that allegedly supports terrorist.
Indonesia is a very big problem area for the U.S. to help with the tsunami aid, as 790,000 of the tsunami survivors in the country are still not capable of feeding themselves.
