Schools dance at TET

Lights, music and cheering were heard throughout Atherton Auditorium Saturday night, Feb. 12.
The evening started off with the traditional dragon dance.
Among the many performances were skits, dancing, fashion shows, and singing.
Many schools performed. Among them were Bear Creek High School, Lincoln High School, Tokay High School, University of the Pacific, Union of Sacramento, Edison High School, Sierra Middle School, and last but not least, Delta College.
To accompany Sierra Middle School in the hip-hop category was TCK.
A Korean Pop group called Fromage Dance Group performed. The Termites Kru also did break dancing.
Truong Hung Vuong did the traditional candle dance.
To close out the evening Duc Vo and Julian Bryant did a rap entitled "Tet."
Before the good-bye finale there was a raffle. Prizes were given out to the matching ticket number. Prizes like a CD player, a clock, poker set, lamp, Chinese checkers and a DVD player were awarded.
