You definitely will be surprised with Destiny's Child's third album release, "Destiny Fulfilled." With earlier album releases such as "Survivor" and "The Writing's on the Wall" Destiny's Child is known for their club hits that will make you get low. On their third album, though (excluding X-mas and remix albums), A majority of the tracks are slow tempo. With their first single, "Lose My Breath," one expects some hot dance tracks, but there are only two upbeat tracks; you will not be disappointed, though.
These ladies fascinate the listeners with not only the beats, but with the messages on the tracks. For example, my favorite track on the album, which gives me chills, is "Through with Love," which speaks of moving forward from an unhealthy relationship, saying good by to this so-called "love." There is a beautiful twist to the ending of the track, which you must listen to to be moved.
On "Destiny Fulfilled," the ladies each have their spotlight to amaze the audience with their voices. Kelly has her own solo hits, Michelle's voice will make you press rewind, and, of course, Beyonce's voice will have you speechless. May I add that she was amazing on the Ladies First Tour?
If you've been a fan, you will also notice that Destiny's Child's lyrics have grown and matured, as they have. The messages on these tracks will move you and have you relate to each word. Although I was excited to hear tracks such as "Soldier," there are definitely great inspirational songs that, won't make you two-step, but it will have you listening and loving each track.
