LetterKills is the one of the latest punk bands to hit the scene. Their song "Don't Believe" is becoming known by the alternative-community as the next best thing.
On the road with Story of the Year, on the Nintendo Fusion Tour, LetterKills is showing unaware people just how good of a band they really are. Their album entitled "The Bridge," was released earlier this year and is filled with amazing guitar riffs, vocals, and lyrics that throw the listener into a rock-out state.
LetterKills have a pure vibe by not incorporating synthesized sounds; it is just the singer and the band.
With every good band, comes a good slow song, and on this particular album that song is "Hold My Heart, Pt.2" Lead vocalist, Matt Shelton, sings about how he woke up thinking about his fears and what he had done in the past year; how he had hurt his girl, how sorry he is, and to make up for it, he is letting his girl hold his heart.
If you enjoy Taking Back Sunday, The Used, Billy Talent, or bands like these, then LetterKills is the next general step in the way of good alternative music.
$9.99 is a small price to pay for a CD that will leave the listener feeling pumped and satisfied. Check out two of their songs off the album online at www.Letterkills.com
