Slow Motion Reign

Slow Motion Reign is a soft rock band by today's standard, but the band itself sounds strong. The song on their E.P. "Isn't it Time?" kicks off with a good beat, then lead vocalist Narek Pogosyan starts to sing and takes the experience down a notch. With his drawn out voice and spacey lyrics, Pogosyan adds no appeal to the band. Slow Motion Reign has no place in this era of punk-induced, upbeat, ready-to-go-type music. Their music cannot quite be considered laid back, but more annoying than anything. Looking at the band members it is understandable why they would play this type of music; their age shows in their photos, looking like they are all in their early 30s.
Slow Motion Reign's closest comparison is Train; they have the same look, and if Slow Motion Reign had a more catchy beat and better vocalist, they just might have what it takes to make it in the music biz.
For now, Slow Motion Reign is dead in its tracks and is in need of serious consideration about this whole soft rock thing, and whether they can survive.
