Rodney Dangerfield died Tuesday, Oct. 5, at age 82. Dangerfield, the ultimate "put-down" comic, had recently suffered a stroke and had recovered from a coma. Dangerfield emerged in the comedy scene at age 42. His career includes movies like "Caddyshack," "Back to School," and "Meet Wally Sparks." Dangerfield also appeared on the "Ed Sullivan Show" seven times and appeared on Johnny Carson's "Tonight Show" over 70 times. We here at the IMPACT are fans of Dangerfield's. His great put-downs were great jokes to copy and spew at each other on deadline days.
