Just when you thought it was safe to drink soda, Mountain Dew dares you to taste the fear in a bottle. Only through Halloween, a limited edition Mountain Dew Pitch Black will be out.

This limited edition drink also has an interactive website, www.mountaindew.com/pitchblack. The site includes a trailer, the game "Terror in the Woods," a haunted house, and the chance to dare your friends.

"Terror in the Woods' '....already got your friends...and now something in Bridgforth Woods is stalking you..."

The game uses the arrow keys to run and the space bar jumps you over logs or from tree branches.

The object of the game is quite boring if you asked me because all you do is to run through "Brichetto Woods," but you don't want to get caught left behind, because the dreadful monster is after you.

And even if it was exciting running to each "safety zone" you just continue running through the same path.

Be careful, though, mashing the keys constantly may harm your keyboard.

The haunted house has two floors you can explore, using your mouse as a flashlight.

Frightening sights like bats, and spiders will occur so beware, but once you have made it to the attic, a stack of newspaper will tell the misfortune of the ghost who haunts "Brichetto Woods."

This site also is offering a sweepstakes where you can win a portable DVD player, and a horror movie prize pack. The movie include: "Return of the Vampire," The Revenge of Frankenstein," and "13 Ghosts."

Pitch Black contains a hint of Mountain Dew with black grape flavoring.

It is quite tasty, with a tangy grape flavor that even children will enjoy for the spooky holiday.
